Never underestimate the value of your contribution, no matter how small.  Our combined effort creates miracles in the lives of children who would otherwise remain extremely poor and forgotten.

Food and Clean Water...
You help us to provide a little body with desperately needed nourishment. We purchase local staple non-perishables like rice, beans and maize-meal, and pay for supplies of locally available vegetables, fruits and protein sources.

Water to a poverty stricken child in Africa can be a matter of life and death. It is often contaminated with any number of parasites or waste products. Christian Hands looks to constructing fresh water wells where it would benefit the most number of children, such as in a rural or slum school.

$10.00 will feed a hungry school age child for a month.
$20.00
will feed, clothe and educate a poor child for a month.
$1500.00
will fund a deep fresh water well that will serve a mission school and community that currently has no running water, providing life-giving water for generations to come.

Community Development...
"It takes a whole village to raise a child."
This ancient African proverb still holds true today. By helping to improve the child's community, we create self-sufficiency thus breaking the cycle of poverty.

Cows for milk, beef and breeding
You help provide chickens for fresh eggs, a goat or dairy cow for nutritious milk and cheese.
Staple produce like maize (corn), beans and greens provide healthy nutrition to protect children from preventable diseases like scurvy and kwashiorkor. Livestock and agriculture provide the means to self sufficiency by creating a source of income.

$25.00 will buy a widowed mother a brood of chickens for hatching eggs, sale and consumption.
$30.00
will educate and train one African national for one month to work with children in need.
$100.00 will provide everything required to start a vegetable "shamba" (Kiswahili for garden) that will continuously provide for 5 poor families.
